Faculty research programs are organized by basic subdiscipline. However, most faculty research in marine science at UCSB is intrinsically interdisciplinary and crosses disciplinary lines. Therefore prospective students are encouraged to investigate all the faculty programs listed when searching for an appropriate faculty sponsor.
